Toronto NuJazz Festival

Toronto's Nujazz Festival

Now for 5 straight years, The NuJazz Festival has brought a unique twist to Toronto's music landscape.  We're currently working hard on our 6th edition slated for November 2013.  If you'd like to get involved please get in touch via our contact page.  We're pleased to be working on an upcoming show on Fri. June 21st at Wrongbar with NYC's soul/jazz/house project Tortured Soul.  We've had a long relationship with this group in Toronto and we're very excited for this show as we're filming it for a concert documentary.

Hypnotic Brass Ensemble - Fire (Mr. Scruff Remix) out on vinly on Choice Cuts.

Killer new Hypnotic Brass Ensemble 12" featuring a sure fire dancefloor burning remix, from Mr Scruff! HBE lay down an infectious stripped down to the bone latin flavoured anthem that immediately grabs the listener with its back breaking bass line and neck-snapping horn section. From the start the pulsating low-end of the sousaphone commands your full attention as the flawless horn stabs sit perfectly on top to create one of their most club friendly tracks to date.
