Toronto NuJazz Festival

About

The 5th Annual NuJazz Festival is brought to you with love by Toronto promoter Jay Cleary and his hard-working team at NuFunk.ca. Our goal is to celebrate the spirit of jazz in a contemporary musical and presentation context; with bands that cover an incredibly diverse range of styles and DJs who keep the rooms rocking. Utilizing the city’s best venues and backed by top-notch publicity & promotion that creates exposure and opportunity for all involved, we are proud to give great local and Canadian talent the chance to shine on the same stage as internationally-famous headliners.

Past NuJazz Festival headliners have included: Roy Ayers, Breakestra, DJ Shadow, Jazzanova, Aloe Blacc, Hypnotic Brass Ensemble, Tortured Soul, King Britt, Toubab Krewe, Trombone Shorty, Jose James, Souljazz Orchestra, Elizabeth Shepherd, Mark de Clive-Lowe, National Parcs, Planet Earth, Sisters Euclid, and Nickodemus.

The NuJazz Festival is produced with financial support from the Ontario Arts Council and Toronto Arts Council.
